Horium Foods Inc was founded in 1982 in Montreal, Canada by the Ho family. Under the direction of Dr. Chong Ho Hong, Ph.D in Biochemistry and Food Chemistry, they were among the first producers of tofu and other soy foods. They developed unique and innovative methods to combine the old with their Chinese ancestors, the tofu creators, resulting in soy-based foods of the highest quality and taste.

Food Horium uses only GMO-free soybeans and also offers a range of organic products, which are certified by Ecocert Canada. In addition, Horium products are 100% pure and natural. They do not use additives or preservatives, such as carrageenan (used as a thickener and stabilizer), which is in many other soy beverage brands. Studies have shown that the carrageenan is linked to cancer and other health problems.
