Sunshine Farms started as a family affair with growing asparagus in 1982. Mama and wife Claudia canned and pickled their produce for their own consumption. The family just loved her recipe for pickled asparagus and they gave some to their friends as gifts. Of course, they just kept asking for more… and the business sprouted nicely from there.
With the help of their sons — Josh, Ben and Adrian — and Claudia’s wonderful creativity in the kitchen, they now offer 23 types of pickled vegetables. They do not use preservatives, fillers or additives. The vegetables are processed as soon as they are harvested, so they retain all their flavor, crunchiness, color, as well as their nutritional and digestive properties.
