La Maison Orphée is the story of a local family business, headed by sisters Élisabeth and Élaine Bélanger, supported by some forty colleagues.
Since 1983, they have been selecting and cold pressing virgin oils. These oils are extracted at low speed, without adding heat or any other product. Once pressed, they are simply filtered and bottled to retain as many nutrients and flavors as possible. To the extraction of oils have been added over the years, vinegars, mustards, vinaigrettes and mayonnaises.
Maison Orphée is committed to local and international producers who share strong societal and environmental values, in order to source quality ingredients that will be transformed into virgin oils and condiments.
