The only company of its kind in Eastern Canada, Les Aliments Trigone Inc., from which Les Moissonnaires du pays brand originated, has been dedicated since 1984 to processing organically grown grains.
At the turn of the 1980s, Aliments Trigone inc. was born in response to a desire of cooperatives and natural food purchasing groups to source grains grown in Quebec. That was 25 years before the buy local movement so strong today. Their specialties are hemp, black and green buckwheat, fresh garlic, quinoa, amaranth, chickpeas and brown rice.
Their team takes the quality of its products very seriously. The processing is carried out with respect and integrity to organic farming standards and is certified by Ecocert Canada. In addition, all their grains undergo quality tests before delivery to ensure that they meet technical and quality requirements.
